Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

The hotel is away from the hustle bustle of Luxor city, and the rooms are huge with excellent service. Facilities are well kept, we used their wellness center and swimming pool. They have multiple swimming pools but we used the infinity pool on the Nile. The hotel is built on its own island in the Nile with many blocks of rooms and cottages. The restaurants were great we had lunch dinner and breakfasts. We also went for fishing in the Nile with their staff. The entire service staff was eager to help. One of the best stays for us in entire Egypt. If ever we go to Luxor again, this is the place we are going to stay.

This was my second time visiting (first time was about 17 years ago). The island location is very relaxing and nicely atmospheric with the views of the Nile and the boats sailing by. The staff are very courteous and diligent. The views are excellent especially from the infinity pool; walking by the river’s edge is also great for looking at the horizon etc. The cats around the property are cute, although we made the mistake of feeding some, which got a bit hairy when more than one cat got involved. The attendants feed them regularly, so they can just be stroked if you want to.

The room was clean and the location overlooking the Nile river was great. The water pressure of the shower was strong and comfortable. We had dinner at an Asian restaurant and it was delicious. There was a mini-zoo on the hotel premises, and we were able to see camel, rabbits, monkeys and more. It was just feeding time, and the staff kindly let us feed them :) We didn't use it this time due to the cold, but we would have liked to have used the pool if it was summer.

This place is totally unique. Located on a private island in the Nile, it is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day Pharaoh-hunting. The infinity pool overlooking the Nile at sunset really is bucket-listesque. The staff are all very helpful and the food across the restaurants is excellent. We went in low-season (August) with 2 small kids and the resort was quite empty which added to the peaceful vibes. Both parents and kids really enjoyed ourselves. Yes it's hot to be out in the tombs but when you can come back to a cool afternoon dip in the pool and to walk in the green gardens, it feels all the better. It was apparently built in 1982, so does feel a bit 'of an era' but for me, that just added to the 'vintage luxury' aura. You have to come visit!

A little spot of Heaven that cost like a cheap and grey room in an European city. An amazing location, on an island in the Nile just 30minutes from the city center. Simple, modern and comfortable rooms in the green romantic resort. Waking up with voice of free birds you can see the airbaloons floating on the valley of Kings, a breathless experience. Outstanding staff, from the receptions to the gardeners, from the security to the chefs of the restaurants gave an additional added value to the experience.
